Johnson Controls International is an American, Irish-domiciled multinational conglomerate headquartered in Cork, Ireland, that produces fire, HVAC, and security equipment for buildings.
As of mid-2019, it employed 105,000 people in around 2,000 locations across six continents. In 2017 it was listed as 389th in the Fortune Global 500. It became ineligible for the Fortune 500 in subsequent years since it relocated its headquarters outside the U.S.
The company was formed via the merger of American company Johnson Controls with Tyco International, announced on 25 January 2016. The merger led to the avoidance of taxation on foreign market operations and a financial windfall for the CEO of Johnson Controls at that time, Alex Molinaroli.

MyJCI Portal
MyJCI is a secure web Self-service portal used by Johnson Controls employees to view and manage their payroll and HR information. Each employee has their own login information to an individual account. Through the MyJCI portal, employees can view their paystubs, request paid time off (PTO), and access important HR documents.
Johnson Controls self-service portal (ESS) provides a consistent, user-friendly Web portal for employees to make requests, manage requests, and track request status. On the back end, administrators in IT, HR, Finance, Operations, etc. should be able to create workflows and rules to automatically route requests based on various factors, fulfill employee requests, and analyze performance.
MyJCI Login
The MyJCI login portal is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for employees. Each employee will be given their user account credentials through which all the administrative matters can be accessed and managed.
Those who have already gone through the process of registering for online account access can log in in just a few seconds by entering an Employee ID and password. Users who are having difficulty with the password may want to make a note that the account will become locked after five unsuccessful login attempts.

- To log in to the MyJCI portal, visit the MyJCI Login page
- Under the Sign In section, enter your registered member ID and full email address.
- Click on ‘Next.’
- If you have already enrolled in the MyJCI portal or have logged in before, enter your account password set up for your account.
- For first-time users, enter your temporary password in the format of ‘JC + last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN) + 8-digit date of birth details.
For example Jc0000YYYYMMDD - Click on ‘Login’ to access your employee account online.
However, if you have forgotten your MyJCI employee Portal Username/Password, you can reset your password or retrieve your User ID through the portal. If you feel that someone else is using your account, you need to reset your password immediately. Here’s how;
- Go to the MyJCI portal and click on “Can’t access your account?
- Click on this link and enter your Johnson Controls username or email ID.
- Click ”Next”.
